1 Chronicles 29:8-10
New English Translation

8 All who possessed precious[a] stones donated them to the treasury of the Lord’s temple, which was under the supervision of Jehiel the Gershonite. 9 The people were delighted with their donations, for they contributed to the Lord with a willing attitude;[b] King David was also very happy.[c]

David Praises the Lord

10 David praised the Lord before the entire assembly:[d]

“O Lord God of our father Israel, you deserve praise forevermore!
